Since their debut “Victims Beyond All Help,” Besieged have been lying dormant, but no longer: this 2-track EP with the songs “Mindslave” and “Subjective Reality” is the first new assault from the Winnipeg death/thrashers in years, and it not only upholds their legacy, it builds on it. Aggression is at a new high as the band sounds invigorated by the likes of Pestilence and Sadus. A new album is in the works, but for now let this appetizer hold you over.
